Bed and Breakfast Description

Creative breakfast cuisine: lemon ricotta cheese pancakes, cobblers, popovers, custards, omelets, corn pudding cakes, scrambled eggs and more! Able to accommodate special dietary needs. People rave about the food and coffee!

Gardens have been professionally designed. Resident awarding winning Horticulturalist Steve Coughlin has created a master garden. He is happy to share a secret or two.

Guest rooms and breakfast cuisine are the creation of Ron Kelly. Trained at both Berkeley School of Interior Design and the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park and St. Helena.

The inn is situated on a lofty perch across from scenic arboretum, Plum Creek and historic Johnson House. Guest rooms enjoy this view as well as the established gardens of the Ivy Tree Inn.

Operating for 16 years, we have gratefully entertained hundreds of guests - from Hollywood to Portland, Maine and across the continents. Our guests have left us with many memories and lovely testimonials about the Ivy Tree Inn & Garden.

The Plum Brook Suite: Highlighted by a French iron canopy queen bed with blue and white Chinese porcelain print bedding. Room also has an antique daybed, pine desk & large armoire. Bay window views of Plum Brook & arboretum.

The Magnolia Room: Huge Magnolia tree sweeping against the windows. The room and bath have beautiful second floor views of the extensive gardens. An antique pine queen bed is draped & crowned. This room is favored for its privacy.
