Bed and Breakfast Description

Historic Parkview House is the perfect place to rekindle romance or renew the spirit, with antiques, romantic, theme-decorated guestrooms, comfy, queen sized, fabric draped beds, and lots of decorator details.

Guests are encouraged to linger in the serene English style cottage gardens surrounding our inn. Guests will enjoy wandering through the Victorian herb and rose gardens, with its arbors, statuary and reflective koi pond.

After hiking the Palo Duro Canyon or antiquing on Old Route 66, guests may indulge in a soak in the hot tub under the stars, or perhaps just enjoy the simple pleasure of hanging out in the hammock. A Victorian setting, coupled with traditional Texas hospitality, assure guests will feel completely at home.

Victorian Rose Suite: Crowned ornate Victorian walnut queen bed with luxurious bedding, reading nook tuck under the eaves, cable TV and VCR. Handpainted Gone with the Wind lamp, Beaded fringed window treatments. Wallpapered with burgundy and pink roses.

Garden Cottage: The antique bed is fabric draped "Arabian Nights" style. The living room has cable TV and VCR. The cozy kitchen has a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. Absolutely the perfect hideaway for extra privacy.
