With thirteen guest rooms on three floors, The Carlisle House Inn offers a wide variety of accommodations from simple single rooms to elegant, air-conditioned master chambers with canopied beds and working fireplaces, hand-stenciled wallpapers, inlaid pine paneling, wide board floors, rich oriental carpets, wingback chairs, working fireplaces, and our award-winning garden.

Our bountiful continental breakfast buffet includes delicious home-baked specialties like orange currant scones, blueberry coffee cake, pumpkin bread and popovers; fresh seasonal fruits; breads, bagels and muffins; yogurts; juices; coffee, tea and hot chocoate. Whether in front of a crackling fire in the parlor on a cool autumn evening or just whiling away the afternoon in the garden, every visitor is treated as a personal guest.

Most Popular Rooms:

The 'Sconset Suite is our second floor rear master suite. Newly renovated, the suite has a working fireplace, four-poster queen bed, sitting room with sofabed and 26" flat-screen HDTV with integrated DVD, oriental rugs, small refrigerator and bathrobes.

Brant Point is a large, first floor room with a Queen canopy bed, garden view, oriental rug, working fireplace with two comfy armchairs, cable TV, small private bath with tub/shower & window A/C. Next to the breakfast porch and guest computer.
