This warm & comfortable B&B was built over a century ago as a grand summer cottage overlooking the ocean. The charm of an English seashore home is captured in furnishings of mahogany, antiques, traditional wicker & hand-painted pieces.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Featherbeds, fireplaces, gourmet breakfasts, Jacuzzi for 2, and beautiful oceanviews provide the perfect setting for a romantic getaway in the quiet season.

Breakfast starts with freshly ground coffee, teas, juices, homemade muffins and seasonal fresh fruit followed by a hot entrée such as Belgian Waffles with a warm berry sauce, Pears and Cream topped French toast or a fluffy vegetable and cheese omelet with seasoned potatoes and fresh bagels.

Be sure to stop back at the inn in the afternoon and enjoy a cool drink of lemonade or a cup of herbal tea and freshly baked cookies warm from the oven, while relaxing on our wraparound front porch overlooking the ocean.

Avon by the Sea Room: Our favorite room boasts Queen Anne mahogany furniture and a comfortable featherbed. Equipped with fireplace, private bath with shower and whirlpool for two, as well as a private balcony with a spectacular ocean view.

Nantucket: A spacious room with king size canopy featherbed and oceanview. Blue and burgundy paisley compliment the mahogany high boy, wing back chairs and antique Oriental carpet.
