Cottages by the Beach invites guests to the mellow age and relaxation of an era gone by - while all of today's comforts are at your fingertips, including DSL.

Lora’s Cottage (sleeps 6) is full of charm, just as her name implies. There are two comfortable bedrooms to welcome you at the end of your day. Lora’s has a covered front porch, a large yard and a BBQ. She’s about 150 feet from the beach, just a stone’s throw.

Seashell Cottage (sleeps 11 comfortably) is roomy with an open living/dining area with lots of sunshine. French doors lead out to the large BBQ, backyard and picnic table. Three comfortable bedrooms with versatile sleeping configurations plus a huge fenced yard complete this cottage.

The beach is steps away, down the narrow beach lane and you can see the water from the front windows and covered porch of the cottage.

Our breakfast is fresh from a local prize winning baker. whose cinnamon rolls elicit a constant stream of praise from our guests. Your breakfast cassarole will be in the refrigerator ready to pop in the oven for your first morning. =You'll have cinnamon rolls and fruit, coffee & tea, too. Breakfast offer only available from this website.

A special feature of this guest cottage is the private beach. From Lora's Cottage, you'll have acess to a private spit of land via gated wooden footbridge. There's nothing quite like the feel, smell and taste of wide open air and saltwater while walking amidst driftwood logs strewn with sand and seashells.

We have a quaint, small village atmosphere to offer our guests. The beach is but seconds away down a narrow, level beach lane. You can walk to shops and restaurants with the beach always at your side.

What to do in the area? Perhaps a day trip to nearby Vancouver or Victoria is on your wish list? Would you like to take in a whale watching expedition? A real "experience Washington" guided kayak trip? There's nothing 'fishy' about fishing stories in our area, either. The quaint countryside beckons with artisan cheese and wine. Dutch Lynden, Ferndale and Bellingham's Fairhaven are nearby treats with shopping, theatres and museums. Or perhaps Seattle's world famous Pike Place Market is your cup of tea, A whole smorgasbord of adventure awaits!

Seashell Cottage: 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, another original, vintage cottage that's "beach" down to the bones. family room, sun room, laundry, large yard & BBQ. Sleeps 11 and only seconds to the beach!

Personal checks, M.O. & Credit Cards Damage/cleaning/security deposit up to $75 - $200, depends on length of stay & # of guests in party, fully refundable Our cottages rent out quickly, so please reserve as far in advance as you can so you won't be disappointed! Summer months are geered toward weekly vacation rentals, 4 night minimum unless we have space to fill. We need a minimum of two days advance notice to deliver fresh rolls in time for your first morning.
