Woodley Park Guest House

Washington, District of Columbia.

The first of the DCInns B&B's, the popular, 18-room Woodley Park Guest House has the best location in DC - just steps from the Woodley Park-Zoo Metro station and a short walk from Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan

Bed and Breakfast Description

Washington, District of Columbia bed and breakfast: Woodley Park Guest House

Situated directly across the street from the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, around the corner from the Omni Shoreham, and a short metro ride to the DC Convention Center, this cozy urban bed and breakfast inn is the perfect sight-seeing headquarters and a delightful alternative to DC’s convention hotels.

Our English basement guest rooms have just been renovated, offering large private quiet accommodations with beautiful furniture and Oriental rugs.

Historic, charming, safe, convenient and vibrant, Woodley Park is a wonderful neighborhood. Stroll through the community and enjoy the historic homes and apartment buildings. A 10-minute walk up Connecticut Avenue will take you to the National Zoo to see the pandas and a 15-minute walk up Woodley Road will take you to the Washington National Cathedral.

Eat at one of the excellent ethnic restaurants and sidewalk cafes that line Connecticut Avenue, less than one block from the Guest House, where your choices include Lebanese, Afghan, French, Italian, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Irish restaurants.

Run in Rock Creek Park - You can run all the way down to the monuments - or sit on our front porch and read or people-watch. You will find it hard to believe that you are in the heart of the city.
