Entering through the doors of this Victorian Fantasy, you are greeted with an old world elegance. Intricately carved woodworking detail and spellbinding grandeur make this a grand Saratoga bed and breakfast.

Designed by Nicols and Halcott of Albany in 1873, this High Victorian Gothic mansion exhibits influences from the French Renaissance, Italian, and Egyptian styles. The red and gray slate mansard roof is bifurcated by dormers, each accented by a huge clamshell arch. The ivory stucco facade is studded by a myriad of ornate bays and its conical tower, resembling a minaret, is right out of Arabian nights. That bit of exotica was the result of original owner George S. Batcheller. This Saratoga bed and breakfast was selected as Inn of the Month in the April 1999 issue of Country Inns.

Graciously appointed rooms offer the social and business traveler alike a warm and inviting reprieve from the demands of the outside world. Our Saratoga lodging accommodations offer a relaxing and private space to convene with friends or to share a romantic interlude. All 3200 sq. ft. of the entry floor of our Saratoga Bed and Breakfast is shared by our guests. The rooms contain fascinating woodwork details and unique candelabras and many comfortable spaces for reading, relaxing, playing table games or chatting with friends.

Whether you cheer your champion on with a winning ticket, or prefer the quiet morning elegance of breakfast at the track, watching the most beautiful horses in America practice their paces, the racing season in Saratoga Springs NY offers something for everyone. The five week July/August meet is a summer festival, throughout the County. Music fills the air, glorious flowers burst from every window box, and hats are once again in style.
