New Berlin, Pennsylvania bed and breakfast: The Inn at New Berlin
Open to the public in 1993, The Inn at New Berlin presides over the center of a historic German town in the heart of central Pennsylvania. Gracious accommodations in two distinguished buildings, fine casual dining at Gabriel's Restaurant (recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence), and exceptional shopping at Gabriel’s Gifts welcome overnight guests and daytime visitors to a clutch of quiet pleasures. Swedish massage sessions are available by appointment in The Carriage House beyond the kitchen garden.

Built in 1906, the Jacob Schoch House (the main building) was originally the summer home of a wealthy Philadelphian. Built in 1838 as a public house and tavern, The Samuel Aurand was innkeeper John's childhood home and the site of his parents' corner grocery. Collectively, these two buildings house eleven graciously appointed lodging rooms sought by the discerning traveler.
