Bed and Breakfast Description

Adele Turner Inn sits quietly tucked away in one of Newport, Rhode Island's most historic in-town neighborhoods, amid 2 and 3-century-old homes. Framed by 27 distinctive round-top windows, the elegant Victorian was built in 1855 on the first gas-lit street in America, and is on the National Historic Register.

Thirteen distinctively designed and decorated guest quarters feature grand king or queen bed, gas fireplace, fine Italian linens, antiques, and an artwork collection highlighted by 10 portraits of Adele Turner -- painted by her daughter, legendary Newport artist Beatrice Turner.

Classic Rooms all feature nicely accented bathrooms with shower only, while State Rooms and Suites are larger, and most have exotic bathing salons with whirlpool, plus large sitting area or living room. The Deluxe Quarters are the height of luxury at the Inn with features that range from private rooftop spa, hot tub, 2 person whirlpool, to steam bath, and British reading library.
