The Richard Johnston Inn along with Old Towne Fredericksburg makes an ideal get away for a vacation, weekend retreat, business trip or conference. We are located just three blocks from the Amtrak Station, and only an hour by train from Washington, D. C.

The Inn was constructed by John Taylow, architect, and one of the original signers of The Declaration of Independence. In the 1800's it served as the home of the Mayor of Fredericksburg, Richard Johnston.

Decorated with antiques & oriental rugs, the large rooms are designed and equipped with all the amenities including wireless Internet, TV's with full cable hook-up, VCR's, bathrobes, hair dryers,chocolates, brandy & quality English soaps.
