Welcome to our Log Country Inn: The Bed & Breakfast of Ithaca. We know you will enjoy your stay in our rustic lodge, constructed of fine Vermont logs in a design inspired by American pioneer cabins of the 18th and 19th centuries. In every season, you can relax in this picturesque country setting surrounded by 20 wooded acres at the edge of a vast New York State Forest.

Whether you're visiting friends or family in our area, or you've chosen Log Country Inn as your "home base" for experiencing the scenic and recreational attractions of our countryside, we know you will find it comfortable and convenient.

Relax in a double Jacuzzi in your private suite or at the fireplace in the living room. Historic sulfur springs water in some rooms. Comfortable lodgings with exposed beam ceilings and comfortable country-style, custom made furnishings.

20 wooded acres on the edge of State Forest. Stroll the grounds in summer and admire our vegetable garden. Bring your camera in autumn and capture Mother Nature's leaf painting. Explore the nearby Finger Lakes Trail, the longest trail in New York State. In winter, you can walk or ski through the woods in the still aftermath of a new snowfall.

The decor is dotted with an Eastern European influence, as is the morning meal. A full breakfast is included in the lodging fee. Enjoy Wanda's famous blintzes or Russian pancakes served with juices, choice fruits, local bees' honey, specially selected jams, and home baked breads or pastries.

Downtown Ithaca is the neighborhood that stretches a few blocks from the Commons, the pedestrian mall in the middle of the City of Ithaca. State Street, running through the middle of the City, was closed off for two blocks around 1970 to create this scenic downtown area where shoppers and diners can stroll. State Street also links Ithaca (as Route 79) to Richford and Whitney Point to the east, and Mecklenburg and Watkins Glen to the west.
