Located 11 miles outside of Patagonia in Lake Patagonia Ranch Estates, this 18-acre, private retreat offers quiet seclusion, panoramic views, and peaceful solitude. Mountain vistas look into Mexico and sunsets are some of the most stunning in the Mountain Empire. A Room With a View also boasts easy access to birding, hiking, and boating. It's just minutes from Patagonia Lake State Park, which offers swimming, rental boats, pontoon birding tours, and fishing. Birding enthusiasts have been thrilled to see lifetime birds as they relax on the patio or spot the Elegant Trogon at Patagonia Lake.

Two beautifully furnished rooms are available in this charming Santa Fe ranch home. Each has a private bath and fully equipped kitchen. Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, towels, and linens are supplied. One room has a king bed with two sitting chairs; the other a queen bed with two sitting chairs and two director chairs. TV/VCR or TV/DVD combos and electric faux fireplaces are in each room. Wireless internet service is provided.

Smoking is permitted outside the rooms. Each room is 17'x 25'. The queen bed unit can accommodate well socialized pets. The king room is kept pet free. There are two dogs on the property.

Both rooms enjoy a grand view of the distant mountains and valleys in Sonora, Mexico. A Room with a View is also available for those wishing to stay for extended periods of time.

Patagonia is a Gateway Community along the Arizona Trail, a hikers dream. Numerous shorter trails are also readily available. For the wine buffs the Sonoita-Elgin area offers wineries and tasting. Various fun affordable festivals occur annually.

Birders have been ecstatic to see the Elegant Trogon at Lake Patagonia. Fishing at the lake includes Bass, Trout, Blue Gill, Sunfish and Catfish. Boat rentals, swimming and limited skiing are also available. The Sonoita Creek Bird Preserve is 15 minutes away and additional bird preserves are just an hour away in the San Pedro Valley.

History buffs and casual tourist will enjoy the legendary towns of Tombstone and Bisbee, 2 hours east. Tombstone is home of the OK Corral and the legend of Wyatt Earp. Bisbee, a historic copper mining town built within the walls of a canyon. Both offer fun shopping and casual dining.High end art galleries, specialty shops and great food await you to the west, in nearby Tubac.

Both rooms are the same size (17'x 25') and lay out is inspired by the Crow's Nest of Ramsey Canyon.Due to environmental degradation, the cabins there were taken out in the late 80's early 90's. Come and experience a private piece of heaven.
