Hale Ho Ola is located on the Big Island of Hawaii amidst the unspoiled tropical countryside of Old Hawaii. A two-story plantation-style home nestled on a 1/2 acre of tropical gardens with panoramic ocean views. All guests suites are on the ground level.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Arise each morning to Kona Coffee, local fruits and a full breakfast on the lanai. Relax nightly with our breath-taking Pacific sunsets from your private lanai.

Guest suites are located on the first level guest floor, separate from the living area of the hosts. Each suite has a private entrance, full bath, & private lanai with spectacular ocean views. Mini refrigerators are located on each guest lanai.

We invite you to relax and encourage you to make Hale Ho`ola your home-away-from-home when visiting the Big Island of Hawaii. Relax in our spacious sitting room for reading or just plain relaxing.

Light snacks, coffee and teas are always available at our refreshment center, including a microwave for our guests' use.

For your good health, and ours, Hale Ho Ola is a non-smoking house, however, we do have an outdoor smoking area. We thank you in advance for honoring this policy.

In addition to our exquisite sunsets, unparalleled ocean views, and aloha spirit, you are within a 15-minute drive of these delightful places: sandy beaches (black & white sand) for snorkeling, swimming, surfing & sunbathing; secluded bays where you can swim with dolphins, sea turtles & a rainbow of tropical fish; Kealakekua Bay; Place of Refuge National Park; black sand beach; green sand beach; The Painted Church; snorkeling & scuba diving. In addition, we can make arrangements for sailboat cruises, sport fishing, snorkeling & scuba diving with the Manta Ray, whale watching, & other excursions, e.g. World famous Mauna Kea Observatory, ATV trail riding, horseback riding. We are located 1 1/2 hrs from Volcano National Park. Golf & Tennis are available.

Kona is world-renowned for its marlin & sport fishing. Kayak to (& snorkel at) the Captain Cook Monument. Be enticed with the fullest range of splendid produce our tropical island has to offer at the South Kona Fruit Stand.

Palm Suite: A bright, airy suite with two queen size beds, private bath and private lanai. Room enough for four people. It is decorated in soft green tones to encourage relaxation. Enjoy our sultry nights with the lanai door open while you sleep.

Hibiscus Suite: A charming suite with one queen-size bed, private bath and private lanai. It is decorated in soft, oceanic blue tones Third Suite: The Plumaria suite is decorated in lively, soft, yellow tones.
