The Old School on the Hill Bed & Breakfast, a National Historic site erected in 1876,located in Chamois, offers two wonderful suites near the heart of Missouri wine country.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The Old School was built in 1876 on a reported Indian mound overlooking a bustling river/railroad town. The two plus story brick has changed dramatically. By 1896 the school was bursting at the seams. An additional two rooms were added in 1896. A bell tower soon followed with a clock that can still be heard through-out town reminding us of the current time and the pace of small town living.

The two suites feature a private coffee pot in each suite, wireless internet hook up, satellite TV, king size bed, jetted tub for 2, shower and double vanity and a full breakfast at 8:30am.

Though there have been many changes to the Old School on the Hill over the years, one thing still remains the same. Time may change the appearance, but the ol’ gal still stands.
