Empire, Colorado bed and breakfast: The Peck House
Located on the Eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains between Loveland and Berthoud passes, the Peck House provides a gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. The mountain and valley views from The Peck House are truly spectacular. Located as the hub of a wheel, Denver, Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Winter Park, Grand Lake, Leadville, Central City, and Black Hawk are only a short drive away. Historic Districts and mountain sports are close by. Historic Georgetown is 5 minutes away.

The Peck House is the oldest hotel extant in the state. Many of the antiques used throughout the hotel came by oxcart with the Peck family in 1862. The summer gardens are filled with Colorado wildflowers.

Gary St. Clair is the owner/Chef of the restaurant. The cuisine is American with Continental influences. The Peck House restaurant has become famous throughout Colorado and has been honored with the coveted Governor's Award for Colorado Cuisine.
