Picture three beautifully restored historic buildings that include an original 1847 German pioneer limestone and a hand-hewn timber log home, an original 1863 one-room schoolhouse and an original new barn.

Guests enjoy seeing many different types of wildlife (birds, fish, racoon, squirrels, and more). Enjoy live music, great food, boating, fishing, water recreation, museums, clubs, antiques, shopping, hunting, and more.

The Kuebler Waldrip Haus building has 5 rooms and 5 baths that can sleep 10-16 guests. The Danville Schoolhouse building also has 5 rooms and 5 baths that can sleep 10-14 guests. The Deer Haven Cottage has 3 rooms and 1 bath (always rented as one unit), can sleep 2-6 guests, and is our pet friendly room (rules apply and must be pre-arranged).

Total facilities (10 rooms) can be rented by the room, by the building, or the entire property. Perfect for any church retreat or reunion, couple, family, group, business & corporate, retreat, reunion, wedding, anniversary, gift for any time of year, retirement, or special event.

Enjoy live music, restaurants, & shopping. We are 1/4 mile from River Rd. Icehouse, 3-6 minutes from Gruene & Gruene Hall, 3-9 min. from the Friesenhaus Restaurant (German music starts at 6:30pm-F/S), or FREE music at Landa Park in the summer.

Most Popular Rooms:

Our most popular rooms are the family rooms: Deer Haven Cottage, Hillside Hideaway, Katherines Attic, Danville East Room, Danville School Room, and the Danville Porch Room. These rooms sleep 4, some w/Jacuzzis baths, and some have a porch w/a great view.

Kuebler's Kastle: A beautiful large downstairs room with handicapped access and bath, a Camel back couch, blue and white marble countertop, Saltillo tile floor, king bed, heat, AC, TV, ceiling fans, refrigerator, coffee pot, iron, blow dryer. NO smoking.

Check In Instructions:

We will be happy to accommodate a late check-in. If checking in after 9:00 PM, we will leave a note on the front door and a key under the front door mat so that you can check-in at your leisure.
