 Inside, we offer five bedrooms, each with its own private bath. Our rooms are uniquely decorated with custom window treatments, period antiques, cozy handcrafted quilts and many other details. All of our rooms are coordinated with the elegance and comforts befitting a romantic country inn. * Stroll our 28 acres of park-like grounds * Explore over 2 miles of walking trails * Discover a creek side picnic spot * Catch the biggest fish of 2007 in our stocked pond and win a free night in 2008 * Pick a peck of wild berries or a special bouquet of wild flowers * Soak in our outdoor HOT TUB with 86 jets * Relax in a shade covered hammock by our waterfall * Watch an abundance of wildlife * Skip down the drive and across the street for ice cream * Walk 2 blocks to historic downtown Orange for dinner & shopping Area Attractions and Activities: It is just a few short blocks to walk into town to visit one of the many antique & gift shops, enjoy dinner or visit an art gallery. For a more secluded escape, many guests prefer to stroll our many walking trails. Our resident mascot, Bear, a friendly flat coat retriever will show you the way to our stocked fishing pond. We will be happy to pack you a special picnic lunch or dinner to take along. The antique clawfoot tub is perfect for a long candlelight bubble bath. Relax in your private sitting area with a view of the boxwood garden. Magnolia Room: Has a king sized canopy bed loaded with pillows and luxury linens. This room can sleep four comfortably. The day bed sits in a bank of windows and hides an additional twin sized trundle bed. Antique clawfoot tub and private water closet. |
