The Inn is surrounded on 3 sides by water in historic Edenton, North Carolina. The Trestle House Inn B&B is a waterfront retreat, originally built in 1972. Located on 5 acres, from the viewing deck guests may see a vast array of wildlife and birds.
Bed and Breakfast Description

The Trestle House is truly a wildlife enthusiast's dream. The wildlife refuge behind the inn allows guests to fulfill their "birding life lists" from the "viewing deck." Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Hawks, other birds of prey and waterfowl are abundant. Between December and March, thousands of birds visit the wildlife refuge.
The Trestle House Inn has five guest rooms, each named after birds seen from the windows. All rooms have their own private baths, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and their own unique decor. A licensed massage therapist is available upon request.

Edenton was the original Colonial capital of North Carolina and is known as the "South's Prettiest Little Town". To this day the town retains the elegant charm of a bygone era including many of the most beautiful older homes in the country including North Carolina's oldest Courthouse.
