Magnificently restored limestone mansion in historic district; large formal ballroom, perhaps most beautiful home in North Carolina. On Cape Fear River. Landscaped gardens and terraces, fine linens. Many rooms have expanded bath amenities, such as champagne tubs, and separate two person glass enclosed showers with queen and king beds.

Breakfast is served at the 12' x 4' mahogany (Sheraton style) dining table or one of the smaller mahogany tables, which make for more intimate settings. The English floral wallpaper, antiques and collections make you feel you're breakfasting in an English country house.

The sideboard buffet includes juice, cereal, milk, fresh fruit and sweets, and a full cooked breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. Coffee service is available beginning at 7:00 a.m.

The grandeur and elegance of The Graystone provides the perfect setting for a wedding. The spacious main floor of The Graystone is elegantly decorated with period antiques. Also included in the main floor rental are the gardens and verandas. The ground floor has ample space for a dance floor and musicians or DJ, and can accommodate up to 150 people.

Bellamy: Newly redecorated with Sally Middleton original prints. Cathedral ceiling with king Bed and antique armoire, with flat screen TV. The expanded bath has Kohler tulip sink with a two person glass enclosed shower and separate champagne tub.

Bellevue: Graced with 18 foot ceilings, decorated in scenic French wallpaper in cream and charcoal gray, set off the four poster king size bed and Victorian fainting couch. The bath includes a two person marble shower, and claw foot double soaking tub.
