The Aerie B&B
New Bern, North Carolina.
Relax and share the warmth and charm of this turn-of-the-century Victorian home, one block from the Tyron Palace in the heart of the historic district.
Bed and Breakfast Description

The Aerie Bed and Breakfast was built in 1882 for Samuel Street, a local hotel owner and his wife. The Ward family purchased the home in 1900 and it was in their family until 1979. In 1984 the house was converted to a bed and breakfast.
The Aerie has seven guestrooms, all with private baths, color cable TV with VCR & DVD, radio alarm, phone and A/C. The rooms have either king or queen beds. Breakfast is served in our dining room each morning with a choice of three entrees.
We are one block from Tryon Palace in one direction and one block from downtown in the other direction. Many guests leave their car and walk to see the sights and go to the local restaurants for lunch and dinner, not using the car until time to return home.

| "Wonderful accomodations hosted by firendly and knowledgable innkeepers. Delicious breakfasts and tastefully appointed guest room made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable" - Tessie & Fred Nosal, Long Valley, NJ "Enjoyed our stay so much. We are not "B&B" people as a rule. Sometimes wh have felt uncomfortably that we are visiting someone and can't get away from them. You seem to have hit a perfect balance of friendly hospitality and respect for privacy." - Mel & Marta Hughes, Winston-Salem, NC |
