If you enjoy the warm history of yesteryear, or are a history or architecture buff, you'll appreciate the authenticity of the fully restored Federal period Captain Swift Inn Bed and Breakfast. We are located in the mid-coast region of Maine in the quaint town of Camden; a beautiful seaside village. Our guestrooms are spacious and comfortable and suitable for all types of travelers (families, business. girlfriend getaway or romantic retreat).

Complimentary full breakfast each morning is served between 8:00 and 9:30. You'll be served a full, hearty breakfast in the dining room. The menu changes daily, but always features inn specialties such as; breakfast casseroles, stuffed French toast, Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, crepes Chantilly and Crème Brulée French toast.

The inn is open year round. Summers are ideal here on the coast, and in the autumn the foliage is stunning. In the winter,a restorative peacefulness settles over the village; and in the spring our gardens announce the arrival of the season with the blossoming of flowers. Whatever season you prefer, there are many things to do. The windjammers are an excellent way to spend a summer afternoon. In winter, there is the Camden Snowbowl with fun for everybody. Hiking and biking throughout this scenic area are great almost all year, and the views are wonderful.

All seasons are great for shopping in the unique shops that abound in the area, especially the crafts and antiques. Of course, there is nothing as rewarding as finding that perfect treasure, then treating yourself to a delicious meal at one of the superb restaurants that are open year round in the Camden Area.

Hannah's Room: While of modern construction to accommodate wheelchairs, the room was designed to fit the style of the older portion of the house. This large room also easily accommodates up to three people with a queen and a twin bed.

Coastal Hideaway. One of our luxurious suites. Great for families or that romantic getaway. Second level loft for additional seating or to sleep up to 5. Beautiful fireplace and romantic bath with whirlpool tub. Other extras, refrigerator, large TV.
