Bed and Breakfast Description

An accomplished gentleman of the press, Mr. Weiss became the editor and publisher of the city's first successful newspaper, the Duluth Herald.

The house was built for his wife Mary in 1895. Both he and his wife were prominent civic leaders, giving much of their time and talents to community interests.

Recline with a classic in the library, beautifully decorated with cherry wood and tiled fireplace. The parlour is heavily adorned in exquisite oak, surrounding a marble fireplace.

Lake Superior Lakewalk, rose garden, sailing, skiing, golfing, hiking, museums, antique shopping, theaters.

Duluth, rich in history, is also rich in entertainment opportunities. The Lakewalk, which leads to the charming Canal Park Area, is a short three blocks from the Inn's front porch.
