Natchitoches, Louisiana bed and breakfast: Maison Louisiane
Your stay at Maison Louisiane includes a full gourmet breakfast elegantly served in our large formal dining room. Afterward, we invite you to relax and enjoy coffee or tea on our beautiful front porch or upstairs on the front gallery or rear balcony.

Lounge the day away in our spacious Parlor Room or indulge in poetry, play the piano, have a friendly game of chess, checkers or cribbage in the Salon. If you prefer try your hand at croquet in the rear garden.

Wine and refreshments are located at the honor bar in the breezeway, which overlooks the spacious rear garden. Maison Louisiane is perfectly situated in the heart of the Historic District, within easy walking distance to downtown shopping and dining, and Northwestern State University.

The home was purchased in June of 2001 by Ben and Keri Fidelak and underwent a painstaking historic restoration. This was the case with the foundation, which had to be completely reset to save the structure of the home. Many brick pilings had to be torn out and rebuilt. Each brick was hand cleaned and reused in building the main support pillars under the east façade. Lumber was purchased in bulk and hand milled with a custom forged carpenter’s knife to insure the exact replication of the original siding. The Fidelaks opened the home to the public on November 20, 2001. Ken and Pam Steele purchased the home in April of 2006.
