Bed and Breakfast Description

The Fryemont Inn was Built in 1923 and is listed on the National Register of Historic places. The property includes a beautiful poplar bark covered historic main lodge, several luxury fireplace suites and a 2 bedroom cabin. The dining room has been featured in national and regional publications. The swimming pool, open in the summer months, is nestled in a grove of poplar and dogwood trees.

The historic main lodge has 37 guest rooms, including 5 two-bedroom family suites. An excellent restaurant with a fireside cocktail lounge is a favorite gathering place for guests and locals. In the tradition of a historic property, the rooms in this building are cooled by fresh mountain air, and there are no televisions or telephones in these rooms. A beautiful living room with an enormous stone fireplace and covered rocking chair porch is a relaxing spot to read, and the game tables invite families to enjoy the many puzzles and board games.

The adults-only romantic cottage suites are located just across the lawn in three separate buildings. Each suite has a king bed, cable TV, fireplace, living room, kitchen or wet bar with a microwave & refrigerator, a private deck or rocking chair porch.

The 2 bedroom cabin has a great view of the Smoky Mountain National Park and is ideal for families traveling with children. The cabin is also a pet friendly accommodation.

Cottage Suite #4, our Honeymoon Suite. This adults-only suite features a private outdoor hot tub, a beautiful stacked stone fireplace in the living room, a full kitchen, beautiful architecture, a king bedroom downstairs and extra loft bedroom upstairs.

The cabin is located in a secluded area adjacent to the Inn and the swimming pool. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath, air conditioned log house, with a kitchen, cable TV and a wood stove. The porch has a gas grill and a beautiful view of the mountains.
