Bed and Breakfast Description

Welcome to the Lillagaard! This historic inn, recently purchased and renovated by innkeepers Dick & Jane Wehr, features 22 enchanting guest rooms, each named for its unique theme.

Hand-painted murals by local artist Barbara Climer add a spectacular finishing touch to each room, many of which have private baths and an ocean view. For your comfort, every room has a sink, ceiling fan and is air conditioned.

Cheery public rooms include the "English Kitchen" dining room, where a Continental breakfast is served daily, and a formal dining room for intimate gatherings. There is also a cozy library, a TV/game room and an irresistible old-fashioned front porch where you can catch the refreshing ocean breeze.

Having a private party, wedding reception, shower or corporate event? Our dining room is available for private parties of up to 60 people. We are happy to help with the arrangements. A new addition is our Victorian Tea Room serving dainty desserts, finger sandwiches & scones on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

After a day's sunbathing, you can explore everything that the historic community of Ocean Grove has to offer, from concerts and religious services at the Auditorium, to relaxed shopping on the quaint Main Avenue and dining at a variety of restaurants. There are even tours of the community by old-fashioned trolley!
