Bed and Breakfast Description

Our home has plenty of room for you, your gear, your appetite and your resting needs. We spent a lot of time talking to people about the layout of the house to ensure it could address a wide range of activities. You should be able to find a quiet area in the morning befor breakfast, nooks or hideaways for reading, lots of places for relaxing and, if you want, ample space to function as a group.

In addition to the bedrooms, our house has a media room with TV and VCR, DVDs; a PC/Internet station with stored links for relevant wind, weather and mapping services; plenty of room for all your gear; a river-facing deck (views of the hook/event site, the hatch and marina), hammock and deck; a BBQ and picnic table available for your outdoor eating.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Skiing at Cooper Spur, Mount Hood Meadows, Timberline or Mount Adams. Windsurfing or kiteboarding at the Event Center, the Hook, Doug's Beach, etc.

Trails for biking, walking, horseback riding and wonderful waterfalls to view. Outstanding aquatic facilities within .7 mile. Kayaking from paddling to rapids. Harvest/vineyard time.

Local Beers, Local wines and wine tasting.

Birding, spring wild flowers.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Sky Room: Gives a view of the river, bridge & kiters when the wind is up. There is a Jacuzzi in the spacious bathroom with a tub big enough for 2. At night, after closing another door, there is extra privacy.

The Sun Room: Street level floor, far side of the home, has its own sundeck for early morning risers. The paper, a cup of coffee and a cozy place just outside your door. It has back stairs for your use only
