This 1790s clapboard farmhouse is only 100 miles from Manhattan and 115 miles from Boston.

Located in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, the area remains rich with carefully preserved history and lore. Edged by giant maples, picturesque roads wind their way through the greenest of pastures, dotted with red barns. Historic covered bridges, dating back to the Revolutionary War can still be crossed.

Meticulously restored homes bespeak the traditions of old. In nearby Woodbury, you will find an excellent New England antiquing district. There are many charming shops and restaurants in the area.

Tuscany Room: First floor bedroom with westerly views. King size bed, sitting area flanking original fireplace, private bath with clawfoot air jet tub. Vibrant shades of earthy red and camel.

Grand View Room: Second floor bedroom with southerly and westerly views. Queen size bed, sitting area in front of fireplace, ensuite bathroom boasts new 2-person, multi-jetted shower. Subtle shades of cream and green evoke a more genteel era.
