Snowbird Mountain Lodge
Robbinsville, North Carolina.
An unspoiled, hidden vacation oasis tucked away in the southern Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina. Explore the National Forest by foot, bike, horseback or car, or just relax. Fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting, birdwatching, onsite massage.
Bed and Breakfast Description

This rustic yet elegant mountain retreat rests among 100 acres of undisturbed mountaintop in Graham County, NC, just 11 miles from Robbinsville. We look forward to hosting your stay with us. Some guests have been returning for more than 50 years - others are just discovering the Snowbird. With a variety of activities, we are confident that everyone will find their personal way to enjoy the Snowbird Mountain Lodge.
The true beauty of the historic Main Lodge is the view. The front terrace, constructed of native stone and large timber railings, offers a panoramic mountain view. The Lodge also includes the wild cherry paneled Dining Room, Fireside Bar and Outdoor Dining Terrace, where our guests may enjoy Snowbird's renowned gourmet breakfasts and four course dinners.
We have three different accommodations for you to choose from. The Lodge offers 15 cozy guest rooms. Our Wolfe Cottage and Chestnut Lodge offer upscale amenities such as private decks and porches, gas fireplaces with fireside sitting area, satellite radio, and beautiful baths, and views that rival those from the Lodge.
Take an early morning walk on the Point Trail to watch the sun rise over the mountains and Lake Santeetlah. Sunsets over Joyce Kilmer can be viewed from the deck at Margaret's Place. One of the most enjoyable activities at Snowbird involves nothing more than sitting back and relaxing with a hot mug of cocoa and a good book from our 10,000 volume library.
