Bed and Breakfast Description

Explore the Brandywine Valley, Philadelphia, and the Amish Country from our historic English country house.

Main house rooms include king or queen beds, some with canopies, and large private attached bathrooms with showers and tubs. Hardwood floors with Oriental carpets, luxurious guest robes, coffeemaker, TV with VCR in every guest room, and use of our complimentary video tape movie library.
All rooms have CD player with IPod docking station and a selection of CDs for your use while with us. Free high speed wireless is available throughout the house and the carriage house.

Our two bedroom Carriage House is 1100 sq. ft. of English Country charm. It is never booked to more than one party at a time so you are assured of total privacy. Tucked into the woods behind the main house, it is pet and child friendly (age 6 and up). Adults traveling without small children may have breakfast at the main house or request that the kitchen be stocked with breakfast supplies.

We are only 20 minutes from Wilmington, De.

Inverness Suite: Our largest suite on the 2nd floor offering a king bed and a sitting area. It was the master bedroom and has windows on three sides and looks out over the koi pond with waterfall.

The Windsor: A large 2nd floor room with windows on three sides. Large private attached bathroom. Highlighted by a 10 foot high queen antique rosewood half tester bed decorated in tones of gold and permission. A favorite for honeymooners.
