Bed and Breakfast Description

The Lamberton House reflects its rich historical past, with outstanding craftsmanship and special touches of artistry. It is filled with the attributes that make a Victorian mansion so cozy: stained glass, diamond-bright beveled glass, intricately detailed hardwood floors, wainscoting and much more.

Large enough to accommodate your family reunion or party, yet you can always find a quiet nook for relaxing. Enjoy the comforts of our spacious library, drawing room, and dining room. Warm and inviting rooms where you can curl up with your favorite book or choose a book from our selection. A desk is also provided for writing or working. The den is located directly off of the library. Enjoy a card or board game, watch television or just sit back and relax.

A full breakfast (or if the guest chooses, a continental breakfast) is provided each morning. Afternoon tea is provided, and for a nominal fee overnight guests can also opt to have dinner served.

Called the Victorian City, Franklin takes pride in its many elegant homes nestled in the heart of the city.

Every major architectural style used in western Pennsylvania from 1830 to 1930 can be found here. From Federal Hill to the stately homes in Miller Park, the Historic District, registered in the National Registry of Historic Places, provides delight and surprises with each new turn along tree-lined streets.

The Lamberton House Bed & Breakfast is pleased to announce a partnership with the Barrow Civic Theatre. Overnight guests can arrange to have tickets available to attend the Franklin Civic Operetta Association events.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Victoria Room: Features a romantic turret with a queen size bed. The room also offers a large desk for writing, reading or working, and a marble mantelpiece with a unique copper gas heater.

The Garden Room: A large, airy bedroom overlooking the backyard and flower garden. If you enjoy the morning sunshine, then this is the room. Features a king size bed and ceiling fan.
