Quietly tucked away in the small town of Red Lion, PA, the Red Lion Bed and Breakfast is a cozy and inviting retreat. Shaded by swaying hemlocks and blue spruce, this early 1900s brick home welcomes all who pass by it.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Business travelers and vacationers alike appreciate our convenient location, as well as our relaxing atmosphere.

During your stay at the Red Lion Bed & Breakfast, please take advantage of our cozy common room with fireplace, the lovely sun porch, our well stocked library and guest refrigerator. For your enjoyment and entertainment, indoor games including puzzles and checkers can be found on the sun porch. Afternoon snacks and evening tea are also provided in the common room.

A full breakfast is included with room rate. Breakfast is served from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. but can be adjusted to meet your needs. A Continental breakfast is available for business travelers and guests on the go. Breakfast is served in our breakfast/dining area or in the garden on our patio as weather permits.

There are several excellent locally owned restaurants less than a mile from the Bed & Breakfast. Special breakfast menus are available: Low Fat, Restricted, Vegetarian.

Area Attractions and Activities:

York, Gettysburg, Hershey, Lancaster, Harrisburg all within a 45 minute drive. Many state parks and county parks, outdoor recreation including Susquehana River and Lake Redman. The National Aquarium in Baltimore is a 40 minute drive south on I-83. Hershey Park is a 45 minute drive north on I-83. The York Gallery mall is 15 minutes away, the Park City mall in Lancaster is 30 minutes away. Local antique shops in Red Lion, Dallastown, Jacobus, and Shrewsbury require a day or two themselves! We are located between Allegro, Naylor, and Nissley Wineries - all only a 15 minute drive away. In Red Lion you can find the historical society museum as well as the restored train station. We have wonderful locally owned restaurants for fine dining as well as pizza shops, chinese, sushi, and fast food restaurants.

Colonial Room: This spacious room is decorated with an eye toward one of our favorite places, Colonial Williamsburg. Enjoy the comfortable queen size bed, private bathroom, original parquet hardwood floors and warm robes.

Spring House 1st floor: Enjoy the comfortable queen bed, warm robes, private bathroom. Amenities include a clock radio, tv/vcr, and wireless Internet. This room is on the first floor and is an excellent space for individuals that have trouble with stairs.
