The beautifully restored circa 1759 home is a treat for travelers who want a unique country experience. Although the home was originally constructed as a settler's log cabin, it has been expanded over the years with stone additions. Great care has been taken to preserve the original character of the home and grounds. The rooms are decorated in Williamsburg style with period antiques and reproductions.

Slocum House Inn offers three/four bedrooms all named for General Slocum and his Division Generals. Guests enjoy the use of our common room with its comfortable furniture, satellite TV, VCR, library, and complimentary beverages.

Awaken in the morning to the aroma of fresh baked goods hot from the oven. Fresh brewed coffee, juice, fruit and a variety of delectable dishes are carefully prepared daily. A full gourmet breakfast is served in the dining room where friendly conversation and warm hospitality combine to provide guests with a memorable bed and breakfast experience.

The Greene Room: Located in the guest cottage with plenty of comfort and privacy. Enjoy the queen size canopied bed, gas log fireplace and private bath. Cherry wood furniture combined with the colonial wall stencils give the room a romantic atmosphere.

The Geary Room: Located in the guest cottage, with a four poster queen size bed along with a private bath. Enjoy the gas log fireplace while relaxing in the Queen Anne wing chair. The colonial decorating style gives the room a warm and friendly ambience.
