The Heritage Inns

The Heritage Inns are three separate houses; The Redbud House, The Magnolia House, and The Pecan House. Each is beautifully restored with its own distinct style and flair. A full gourmet breakfast is served in the Redbud dining room each morning.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The Heritage Inns offer a variety of amenities for your comfort and pleasure. Each room features a queen size bed, private bath, telephone, cable TV, and a library. A VCR/DVD is available upon request. Enjoy a full breakfast with others in the dining room or in the privacy of your room.

The Redbud House offers 2 dining rooms. You can choose a large communal table and enjoy breakfast with other guests or enjoy an intimate breakfast for 2 in front of the fireplace in the second dining with fireplace. The parlors are available for small business or group meetings. The Pecan House is an ideal gathering place for a family reunion.

Giuseppe's Italian Restaurant occupies the ground floor of the Magnolia Inn. It offers four dining rooms, a private party room and gracious patio dining. Giseppe's specializes in serving Northern Italian and Southern French items. This is a delightful for your rehearsal dinner or wedding reception.

The focal point of the Redbud garden is a gazebo. Nestles in a fern garden it is the perfect site for afternoon or evening candle light weddings.

We feature 4 honeymoon suites. Each has a 2 person whirlpool tub. The Sleeping Porch has a private balcony and a fireplace. Miss Myrtle's Room is on the ground floor and offers a private entrance and king bed. Grandma's room is a ground floor room with a private entrance, handicap accessibility, a step in shower and handicap safety bars.

Area Attractions and Activities:

We are 15 miles from Texas Major Speedway. The Storytellers Festival and the Arts and Jazz Festival are just 2 blocks away. Blues Festival and the North Texas State Fair are just a few blocks away.

Christmas Lighting Festival is held at the historic Courthouse Square walking distance from the inns. While you are at the Square visit The Recycled Bookstore, Beth Marie's Ice Cream Parlor, an English pub, and The Candy Store. Several antique and specialty shops also surround the square.

Denton Community Theatre, Denton Music Theater, and Jazz bands from the University of North Texas provide many evenings of delightful entertainment. Texas Woman's University is within walking distance and presents a wide variety of music, dance,and theatrical performances.

You can visit the Visual Arts Center or any of several art galleries near the downtown area. Denton is the home of several museums including the Selby House and the Afro- American House. Nearby are Lake Ray Roberts & Lewisville Lake.

The Sleeping Porch: Enter through a cozy sitting room and step down to the bedroom. The private bath has a Jacuzzi tub. Private balcony extends across the back.

The Magnolia South Suite: Exhibits a breath of fresh air with its theme of lilacs and soft, cool colors. There is a queen sized bed with a tall, handcarved headboard as well as a hideaway Murphy bed for extra guests. Fireplace in your sitting room.
