 Individually listed on the National Registry of Historic Places for both architectural and historical significance. This majestic home is one of very few brick houses predating the Civil War remaining in Asheville, North Carolina and the only one in a semi-rural setting. From the majestic entry hall to the wide verandahs with their views of the mountains and the huge swimming pool set in the pines, the house whispers a warm. The Old Reynolds Mansion is a majestic, historic home sitting on a knoll of Reynolds Mountain. It has commanding views from the rooms and the two story verandahs of the mountains, which surround Asheville. Rooms are filled with antiques, all have private baths, some have woodburning fireplaces. A cottage suite overlooking the pool offers a very private, romantic retreat. Mingling with other guests and visiting with the Innkeepers is part of the charm of staying in a B&B, but with 4 acres of grounds and verandahs covering 4,000 square feet, guests can find a spot to enjoy the gardens, the pool and the view, do some birdwatching or enjoy a favorite book in a rocking chair or by a fireplace. We have added 2 Jacuzzi suites and 1 Hot Tub suite with queen or king bed and fireplaces. The house is individually listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
