Built in 1854 and reborn in the Colonial Revival Style in the early 1900's, the Chestnut Street Inn offers gracious accommodations and fine dining in the English tradition.

The breathtaking foyer of this historic landmark will welcome you with an imposing three story floating spindle staircase, magnificent French doors and gleaming chandeliers. Surround yourself with the warm ambience of the living room fireplace or enjoy a quiet moment on the porch or patio.

Luxuriate in second story bed chambers richly appointed with voluptuous Chintz fabrics and fine antiques. Each room has its own adjoining private bath with stacks of fluffy towels and enticing herbal soaps and toiletries.

Indulge in an exquisitely presented candlelight breakfast in the formal dining room or sunlit garden room overlooking expansive lawns, with hundred year-old maple, redbud and lilac trees and, just for a little while, forget about the rest of the world. We are now serving extravagant four course candlelit dinners nightly by reservation only.

The Rosewood Suite: Provides the pinnacle of luxury with a four poster king size bed, cable TV/VCR, fireplace, private bathroom and a private dining room. Enjoy a romantic candlelit breakfast or dinner for two or relax in a warm bubble bath.

The Blue Room: One of our two suites offering a queen sized bed, cable TV/VCR and private bath. The beautiful four poster bed with white net canopy is the highlight of the room. The decor is both soothing and warm, featuring accents in blue and yellow.
