Bed and Breakfast Description

Exquisite mantels, wainscoting, chair rails, window and door surrounds of the Adams period date back to circa 1790, where they were lovingly retrieved from the original Belvedere Plantation.

A gracious Southern continental breakfast is served mornings in the Dining Room downstairs. Fresh flowers and plants are seen throughout, Oriental rugs, family antiques and information about Charleston abound. Afternoon sherry and homemade snacks are served in the upstairs parlor. The staff is always happy to assist you with tour, dining and other reservations to make your stay more enjoyable.

Located in "America's Most Historic City," golfing, tennis, water activities, beaches, tours of historic houses and gardens, fabulous restaurants and sightseeing.

The Frampton Room: Painted "Crushed Rose," looks out over the piazza to Colonial Lake, with 11' ceiling, 4 poster queen Charleston rice bed with canopy, antiques, Oriental rugs, ornamental fireplace with sitting area and private bath with large shower.
