We are members of Professional Association of Innkeepers Int'l (PAII), Better Business Bureau of South Carolina (BBB), North American Bed and Breakfast, American Historic Inns, and have been a licensed Bed & Breakfast since 1980.

The Palmer Home Bed & Breakfast was built in 1848 by John Ravenel, whose son designed the "Little David", the first semi-submersible vessel and the forerunner to the submarine.
Area Attractions and Activities:
The Palmer Home is also a great place for special events. Guests enjoy gathering in our beautiful drawing room, and taking horse-and-buggy rides around Historic Charleston.
