Beautiful year round, each season outshines the other. Reservations have been coming in and there are three rooms, each with a full bath. We are looking forward to seeing old friends and showing new guest what Fort Klamath & Crater Lake has to offer.
We can book 1/2 day or full day fly-fishing trips with local guides. (Also canoe trips, rafting trips and water fowl hunting). Bicycling, birding, hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoe hiking, snow mobiling, so much to do, winter or summer, in the beautiful Oregon Cascades.

Area Attractions and Activities:
Klamath Basin Birding: Imagine millions of geese swirling as far as the eye can see over vast wetlands, whose silhouettes form astonishing patterns against snowy mountain vistas. The Klamath Basin is renowned for its wide diversity and abundance of bird life due to its diverse habitats including marshes, open water, coniferous forest, Juniper woodlands, oak-chaparral, sagebrush-grasslands, grassy meadow and rocky cliffs.
Ashland Shakspeare Festival: A major theatrical experience!
Crater Lake National Park: Weather plays a dramatic role at Crater Lake National Park. Winter, especially, shapes the landscape; snow generally begins to accumulate each year in October and doesn't melt in most places until the following June. Summer weather is more predictable, with warm, dry days, blue skies, and cool nights. Nevertheless, there may be days even in August when the lake is completely obscured by clouds and fog.
Most Popular Rooms:
The Nautical room is on the first floor. Many windows and a southern exposure make it light and airy all year. A separate door leads to the deck on the south side of the house. A spacious private bath offers a tub/shower combination. There is a king size
The Oriental room is on the second floor, also with a southern exposure. It also offers a king size bed. A small balcony looks out on the southern view. The private bath has a large tiled walk-in shower.
