Cobble House is a peaceful haven in the heart of Vancouver Island's growing wine and culinary region in the Cowichan Valley. Centrally located on a forested acreage, we are still only 45 minutes north of Victoria.

Bed and Breakfast Description

We offer 3 spacious guestrooms, all with private bathroom and comfortable sitting areas, decorated with antiques, plants, and decorative painting. Guests are also invited to relax by the Russian fireplace in the Great Room in winter, or out on our flower-filled deck in summer. All rooms come equipped with a small bar fridge, a portable fan, outside rollshutters, and individual heat control.

40 acres of forest with a creek, walking trails and wildlife to watch.

Relax on our flower filled deck and enjoy the birds at their feeder, hear the owls at night, or perhaps you'll see some deer.

Above all we offer peace and quiet, a relaxed atmosphere and great hospitality!

It offers a wide variety of outdoor activities such as golf, kayaking, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, boating and fishing, horseback riding and birdwatching.

The South Cowichan is Vancouver Island's Wine Country - with 8 wineries and a cidery in the area - spent a day cycling or driving our country roads and visiting the wineries, the cheese farm and other specialty farms.

Less than an hour south of us is Victoria, B.C.'s capital city, with its inner harbor and Fairmont Empress Hotel and the Parlaiment Buildings - a must-see is the Royal British Columbia Museum, and the world-famous Butchart Gardens. Go whale watching from the inner harbor area. The drive to Victoria is along the spectacular Malahat Drive.

Heron Room: Most suited for families as it has a queen sleigh bed and a double futon, and still lots of space!
