 After a full day, you can feed the ducks in the pond, socialize with other guests, snuggle up with a good book or relax in the hot tub. Enjoy a full gourmet breakfast of your choice in our formal dining room. Choices include a variety of omelets, pancakes, Belgian waffles and specialty items such as Eggs Benedict or our New Orleans crawfish omelet. Coffee is always available in the guest kitchen along with an assortment of teas, hot chocolate, juices and snacks. The Blue Heron offers four spacious bedrooms on the second floor with private baths. The Heron, McKenzie and Mouton rooms have queen beds and the Orleans room has a king bed and a jacuzzi tub. Upstairs with the bedrooms is a common area for visiting with family and friends and a kitchen for snacks and beverages. Come join us for a unique bed & breakfast experience. We are also available to host special events such as weddings, luncheons, bridal and baby showers and afternoon teas. Area Attractions and Activities: Activities in and around Bastrop include: four beautiful golf courses, Lake Bastrop and the Colorado River for boating and fishing; hiking and biking in Bastrop State Park or McKinney Roughs Nature Park, and the Riverwalk nature trail. Bastrop is also home to two museums: the Bastrop Historical Society Museum and the Central Texas Museum of Automotive History.
