A 1900's Georgian revival, close to downtown, Dreemskerry, is nestled in the heart of Rockland, Victoria's prestigious historical neighborhood.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Dreemskerry was built in 1932 as a wedding gift for the daughter of a local lumber baron. Located at the corner of Rockland Avenue and St. Charles, the home was christened "Dreemskerry", Manx Gaelic for "by the sea," by Maureen and Bryan Stoodley, the current owners and reflects their Manx heritage and origins in the Isle of Man.

Architecturally, the house is officially described in Canada's archives as an authentic Georgian Cape Cod Mansion House.

The superb quality of the first cut timber, coved ceilings and fabulous finishing materials shines throughout the home -- a gracious tribute to the charms and elegance of the era.

The Antique Queen Room: Authentic 1840's furnishings complete with a lace canopy bed. The understated luxury of our "Blue Room" will give you a glimpse of a time gone by. Enjoy the evening sunsets from the spacious balcony.

Jacobean Suite: Overlooking the front garden, this spacious room was Dreemskerry's original master bedroom. King size bed, authentic 18th century "Jacobean" furnishings. Sit back and enjoy the Jacuzzi in the tiled 5 piece ensuite bathroom.
