Ashley Manor is a charming, historical Inn centrally located near Barnstable Village on Cape Cod. Owned by two very special innkeepers, the Manor offers comfort, privacy and proximity to great beaches, whale watching, shopping, walking and cycling paths.

Minutes from Barnstable Village and Barnstable Harbor, this 1699 restored Colonial sits on 2 acres of inviting grounds.

The 6 guestrooms all have private baths, 4 have whirlpool tubs and 5 have working fireplaces. Spacious rooms, lovely common rooms, large brick outdoor terrace with gazebo and tennis court. Meticulously furnished with period reproductions, antiques, Oriental rugs. Warm and welcoming, your hosts are Patricia Martin and Vince Toreno

A full, complimentary breakfast is included - served in front of a roaring fire in the dinning room in the colder months, and on the outdoor brick terrace in summer, where the colorful array of flowers will greet you.

Each day, the breakfast is different...starting with freshly ground New England coffee, teas, juice and fresh seasonal fruit or baked fruit as a first course. Entrees may include French toast, pancakes, waffles and various creative egg dishes. Cranberry pie or Blueberry-Peach-Raspberry Crisp are house specialties! And of course, for those who prefer a lighter start to their day, or those with dietary restrictions, a continental alternative can be arranged by prior request.

Children 14 and over are welcomed.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Beaches, Antiquing, Fishing, Dinning, walking and bicycle trails: The National Seashore is twenty miles of beach and nature trails, and there are beaches and nature trails, as well, in every one of the Cape villages.

The 18th century lingers all along Route 6A, originally known as the Olde Kings Highway and one of the 10 most scenic and historic roads in America. There are historic homes, lighthouses, museums devoted to the Cape's past...especially its maritime history...and a treasure for those of a genealogical bent, the renowned Sturgis Library in the Village of Barnstable.

There are art galleries and craft studios everywhere; antique auctions and fairs are frequent during the year, including those at Eldridge.

Go sport fishing, whale watching, golfing or take a day trip to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. There are frequent ferry departures from Hyannis as well as air service.
