 Cheerful, with stenciled windows on two sides, newly designed fireplace and hardwood floors, the living room is your first place of entry. Stop to admire the bottle collection and mirrored windows. A distinctive arch welcomes you up the walkway. Existing flower beds have been extended and new ones added, enhancing the charm of the house. A blaze of azaleas and rhododendrons grace the path in spring. Begonias and bougainvillea crowd around the doorway with exotic colors all summer long. Across the lane from Graeme's House is a charming one-bedroom suite with private patio available from July 1- August 31. It is suitable for one or two couples, or a family of 4 or 5. It features a self-catered fully equipped kitchen, telephone, cable TV, and weekly maid service. Area Attractions and Activities: Upbeat village atmosphere of West Broadway in Kitsilano, handy local bus for quick trip downtown or out to U.B.C or local beaches down the road. Services: Sitting room, sundeck, roof garden, near English Bay Most Popular Rooms: Iris: Queen bed, bay window with stained glass irises, French doors to private balcony. It shares a bathroom with the Cornflower Room, but has adjacent toilet & sink of its own. Peony: An elegant pink, white and green theme prevails in this bright, cheerful room with cathedral-ceiling. The Peony Room features a double bed, antique chaise lounge and pine accessories. There are prints of West Coast vistas and vintage mirrors. |
