Mayor Lord's House B&B is a 1920 home with original Craftsman-style woodwork throughout. It was built by Lewis L. Lord, Mayor of Meadville 1901 to 1904. Mayor Lord's Grandfather Samuel L. Lord, an early Meadville settler, gave 20 acres of land in 1820 for the founding of Allegheny College. Bentley Hall and the "old campus" are situated on this gifted land. On campus Lords Gate was built in honor of Samuel Lord.

In Meadville, Mayor Lord’s House Bed & Breakfast is centrally located two blocks from Allegheny College.

Walking distance to the Crawford County Courthouse, and the Meadville Medical Center.

Walking distance to local restaurants and pubs.

Historic points of interest include the Academy Theatre, the Meadville Market House and the Baldwin Reynolds House Museum.

30 minute drive to either Grove City Shopping Outlets or Erie's Millcreek Mall - each in opposite directions, 15 minute drive to either Conneaut Lake Park or Campbell Pottery - each in opposite directions. AND 5 minutes to the Crawford County Fairgrounds.
