Warm hospitality awaits you at the WilloughVale Inn, situated in an exquisite natural setting on the shores of Lake Willoughby. Lodging at the WilloughVale is gracious and informal, providing a perfectly relaxed atmosphere for vacationing in all four seasons. Pets are welcome (some restrictions apply - please inquire).

Accommodations in the Main Inn include seven unique rooms and 3 suites with spectacular lakeviews all with Vermont handcrafted furnishings, televisions, air conditioning and private baths.

The Lupine Room also features a queen canopy bed and large Jacuzzi tub. The Governor Aiken and Gazebo suites feature king beds, fireside double Jacuzzis, private porches with sweeping views, satellite 36" televisions, VCRs and conveniences such as microwave ovens, toasters, refrigerators, sinks, and coffeemakers.

Our 8 cottages (four lakefront and four lakeview) offer cozy living rooms, fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces, screened porches, decks and private docks... the perfect setting for cozy romantic getaways or memorable family vacations.

Dining at the WilloughVale is seasonal, relaxed and casual. Guests, travelers and local residents gather in the Tap Room Bar and Willoughby Dining Room for spirited conversation, Chef's specialties and sweeping views of the lake and mountains.

Vermont's Northeast Kingdom is truly a wilderness jewel, offering outstanding recreational activities year-round. Snowmobiling, climbing, cross-country skiing and ice-fishing are available just outside our door, and superb alpine skiing and snowboarding are available at nearby Burke Mountain and Jay Peak Resorts. Sleigh rides and dog sled rides in the area.

In the summer and fall, enjoy swimming, boating, hiking, biking and the fall foliage is beautiful!There are many more weekend events.

Lupine Room: Cozy and romantic, features a handcrafted four poster bed, desk, love seat and large bathroom with double Jacuzzi and separate shower. Sweeping views of the lake and surrounding mountains are offered from the bedroom.
