Bed and Breakfast Description

Savannah Beach Inn is located in the Fort Screven National Historic District (on the National Register) and once housed an officer and his family at Fort Screven.

The inn is situated on a bluff with a great view of the Atlantic. It features a huge wraparound porch, ornate tin ceilings, 5 fireplaces and a uniquely designed period kitchen that is a favorite gathering place for guests.

The inn is set up to cater for weddings, we can order the champagne and roses, provide you and your guests the most romantic rooms and create a friendly welcoming atmosphere to surround the event with happiness.

Stroll the beach, live a little, swap stories, dine on the island seafood and comeback with enchanting stories to tell. Almost always our guests come back with excited stories of the dolphins seen from the beach, the pelicans that flew overhead or the moonlight walk along the beach, underneath the lighthouse nearby.

Tybee Island is the perfect vacation spot for both seafarers and land lovers. Its proximity to the beach and to Savannah offers a lot of possibilities for historic sightseeing, water sports, sunbathing, and enjoying native seafood at one of Tybee's great restaurants. The Tybee Historic Society has a museum nearby and the Lighthouse is on tour.

The Marshall Suite: On the third floor. Features a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the entrance to the Savannah Harbor, king size bed, vaulted ceilings, and a view of the Tybee Lighthouse.
