Crisanver House: A beautiful Inn where contentment reigns.

Central to historic places, short drive to great shopping amid cultural events and a multitude of year round sports activities, Crisanver House is a AAA 3 Diamond rated and a Member of Select Registry, Distinguished Inns of North America. This historic grand home is totally renovated and redecorated in upscale classic chic with antiques, oriental rugs, original artworks and warm decor to create comfort and charming elegance. A new inviting conservatory and porch complement the inn.

On a back country road minutes from the highway, at 2000 feet amid a 120-acre preserve, you are surrounded by a panoramic rolling tapestry of the Green Mountains and brilliantly colorful sunsets.

We offer you a 20X40 heated pool, tennis, yoga, reflexology, hiking, shuffleboard, croquet, hiking trails to a pristine lake, TV & DVD movies, and a foliage spectacle of breathtaking colors beckons in autumn. In winter the inn glows from within amidst a snowy wonderland.

Eight deluxe guestrooms and one suite, each named after a mountain peak viewed from the Inn and appointed in individual charming country elegance. We offer queen and twin beds with private bath in the main house. Two recent cottage rooms trump our classic guestrooms.
Area Attractions and Activities:
Our location makes Crisanver House an ideal base for daily trips to such interesting and historic places as the Bennington Monument, Calvin Coolidge’s birthplace, Shelburne Museum, Grandma Moses Museum, Billings Farm Museum, Queeche Gorge, Hubbarton Battlefield, Saint Gaudens Museum, Maxwell Parrish Museum, the Vermont Cheese Trail.

In summer, choose from 6 area golf courses, canoeing at various lakes, summer theater and concerts, waterfalls, horseback riding, birding, kayaking, sailing, antiquing, art galleries, craft fairs and farmers markets.

In winter, skiing and snowboarding at Killington/Okemo/Pico, sleigh rides, ice skating, snowmobiling, dogsledding, evening gondola rides, snowshoeing, cross country skiing.
We also have hiking trails on premises and the Appalachian and Long Trails are nearby, rock climbing, hot air ballooning. Outlet shopping in Manchester, only 30 min. drive and country stores in Weston, historic Woodstock and Middlebury.
