Griswold, Connecticut bed and breakfast: Homespun Farm B&B
A hearty, full breakfast of blueberry muffins, fresh fruit, homemade jams, breads, and the specialty of the day, awaits you every morning in the candlelit keeping room.

"Homespun" literally means handmade, which perfectly describes this colonial farmhouse listed on the "National Register of Historic Places". The home has been tenderly transformed into a warm, romantic, relaxing, bed and breakfast

Surround yourself in a sea of luxurious linens and wake refreshed to a full country breakfast served by candle light. Each of our rooms features a fireplace, full private bath, color TV (with Direct TV Satellite), high speed wireless internet, hair dryer, bathrobes and many other comfortable amenities.

The farm was purchased in 1740 by Simon Brewster. He was a great-great grandson of William Brewster, who arrived in the New World in 1620 on the Mayflower. For over two hundred years the Brewster family ran this historic property as a dairy and orchard business. From the hand crafted beds to the hand hewn beams, Homespun Farm Bed and Breakfast warms you with the spirit of hard working men and women.

Homespun Farm has been given the honor of being added to the National Register of Historic Places as "The Brewster Homestead." We are also listed with the State of Connecticut as a Historic property and is a Certified National Wildlife Federation Backyard Wildlife Habitat.
