Bed and Breakfast Description

Unwind completely in the privacy of your own bed-sitting room, enjoying your fireplace or relaxing on the deck in your Jacuzzi hot tub. Each room has private bath and entrance. From your room you are afforded a panoramic view of the Olympic Mountains in Washington State, and of course, the opportunity to watch the whales, otters, seals and eagles. Your stay with us includes a delicious full course breakfast, featuring homemade breads, jams and a variety of other specialties from our kitchen, for a perfect start to your day. Sooke also offers fine dining, with the Sooke Harbour House Restaurant only a three minute walk from our home, as well as several local restaurants and cafes in the area.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Walk to The Sooke Harbour House for your dinner after a full day of exploring Sooke's many attractions. Explore the waters on a whale watching tour, learn to kayak on the Sooke Basin, or go biking on the Galloping Goose Trail! Take your binoculars to the Whiffen Spit for birdwatching, or go exploring the area's many beautiful beaches and hiking trails, or try salmon fishing with a local charter boat. Enjoy the creativity of our many artists by taking a tour of their studios, and do not miss the Sooke Museum and Info Center. Do all this or simply relax in your suite, and watch birds soar by and the waves roll in.

Our Frog and Spoon suites [on the 2nd floor] are very similar. Both feature hot tubs, wood fireplaces, private bathrooms and entrances. Hardwood floors and fine furniture along with robes and complimentary sherry make this a most romantic getaway.

Our Garden suite: Features a yellow cedar steam room with ocean view. Use a selection of aromatherapy oils with the steam, then relax in front of the wood burning fireplace, or gaze at the view of the water and the mountains.
