Area Attractions and Activities:

A short stroll to the port and you can enjoy art galleries, a charming bookstore, gift shops and a bevy of restaurants offering everything from beer-battered fish n’ chips to elegant gourmet fare. Or just sit on a bench and enjoy the activity of the local fisherman going out or coming in for the day with their haul. Charter boats offering whale watching or fishing trips, a thriving Saturday market and the Ilwaco Heritage Museum are some of the other attractions in this quaint coastal town.

Elsewhere on the Peninsula, you can enjoy kayaking, hiking or horseback riding or the quieter activities of bird-watching, beachcombing or kite flying. From the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and lighthouses to the summer-long festivals, the Peninsula offers something for everyone. You will never be bored!
